Senior Human Resource Officer

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Department Head, Human Resource Management, the Senior Human Resource Officer is responsible for monitoring the Performance Management and Appraisal System for staff; authorizing payroll entries, reviewing inputs for the HRMIS; and planning, organizing and coordinating general HR activities relating to employee services, recruitment, selection, and orientation.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.
Administrative and Industrial Relations skills
Three (3) years’ experience in a similar position

Specific Duties
The incumbent will:
Conduct interviews and ensure suitably qualified staff are hired
Execute the initial Orientation process
Conduct Exit Interviews
Review and develop Job Descriptions
Process Performance Appraisals submitted and prepare report
Develop Work Plans and review
Prepare and monitor the Manpower Plan
Review and give advice on HRM Policies
Prepare staff individual Development Plans
Prepare Reports

Required Competencies
Excellent oral and written communication skills
