Objective:
To fabricate custom sheet metal fittings and assist with annual physical inventory counts. To properly maintain equipment and advise Branch Manager of any necessary repairs, as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fabricate fittings using the various machinery to fill orders
Organize materials and work area to perform fabrications for required fittings
Operate perforating machine, to complete required orders
Keep track of, and record actual materials used to hand in to Fabrications Supervisor
Review finished product for quality control
Assist in packaging completed fittings ready for shipment
Ongoing maintenance of equipment
Assist in annual physical inventory count of raw materials and finished products
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Sheet Metal license
Residential and Commercial experience an asset
Completion of secondary school is required
Product knowledge of raw materials (custom sheet metal fittings)
Knowledge on creating layout and fabricate custom sheet metal fittings
Ability to read blueprints/plans and perform Job take offs.
Experience with plasma table, an asset
Knowledge of quoting custom sheet metal fittings
Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, etc), an asset
Experience with shop machinery an asset.
